Danika completed her Honours degree in Psychology with a minor in French Literature in April 2020. She will be starting her third year of a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa in September 2022. Danika is currently doing an internship at IFCEO under the supervision of Dr. Marie-Pier Vandette.

Through several years of experience in the community, school and academic settings, Danika has developed a particular interest in working clinically with children, adolescents and their families who present with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID).

Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the provision of clinical services for francophone minority individuals with ID or ASD who present behavioural problems.
