Meggan Pelletier
Speech-Language Pathologist
Throughout her university studies, Meggan developed a passion for speech-language pathology and for supporting children’s language development and success. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work as a language stimulation worker. This experience strengthened her interest in working with children and deepened her understanding of the importance of supporting communication skills from an early age.
In 2023, Meggan earned her bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of Ottawa, followed by her master’s degree in speech-language pathology in 2025. She then began her career working with school boards, where she gained a strong understanding of children’s needs in school settings and the importance of close collaboration among the professionals who support them.
Meggan now provides oral and written language assessments for children, as well as intervention services to support their language skills, communication, and learning in reading and writing. She also supports parents by offering practical strategies to encourage language development and support their child’s growth in everyday life.
For Meggan, the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of intervention. She places great importance on building trust with children and their families, respecting each person’s pace and interests, and making sessions positive, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s needs. She wants every child to feel heard, understood, and valued while developing the tools they need to communicate confidently and participate fully in daily life.
