Travailleuse sociale

Karine holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Ottawa. She is a registered social worker and a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Through her clinical experience, Karine has developed particular expertise in supporting neurodivergent children. She offers warm, collaborative care tailored to each child and their family. Attentive to each person’s unique needs, she uses strategies that support social and emotional development, strong relationships, and emotional safety. Her sessions are playful and interactive, encouraging the active participation of children and their family members. Her work draws on therapeutic play, attachment, trauma-informed approaches, and practical tools that support emotional regulation, self-confidence, and problem-solving.

Karine welcomes children and parents seeking support with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, adjusting to a new diagnosis, and family transitions such as separation, blended families, changing schools, and bereavement. She firmly believes that every child has unique strengths and that feeling heard, understood, and supported in their emotions helps them grow in confidence and resilience.
