Lou is a therapist at CIFO, working under the supervision of Dr. Sabrina Fréchette, C. Psych. She provides services in both French and English. She is also a doctoral student in clinical psychology. As part of her program, Lou has developed a strong interest in general psychology and health psychology, supporting individuals through mental health challenges (e.g., depression, trauma, anxiety, etc.) or physical health challenges (e.g., cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, etc.). Her therapeutic approach is warm, gentle, and tailored to each individual.
In research, Lou focuses primarily on cancer survivors, exploring the fear of cancer recurrence. However, she also conducts research with people living with Parkinson’s disease and caregivers of individuals with chronic or progressive illnesses.
